Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken or hen
- 1 corn bread 9x9 sized ( baked, crumbled or packaged cornbread mix)
- 1 cup onions
- 1/2 cup celery optional
- 1/2 cup bell peppers
- 1 tbsp sage
- 1.2 tbsp salt
- 1/2 tbsp black pepper
- 4 boiled eggs diced (optional)
- 2 cans cream of chicken small cans
- 15 crackers salted or unsalted, crumbled
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 drops yellow food coloring optional

Instructions
- Bake chicken or hen breast side up in a pan seasoned with salt and black pepper.
- To create the broth, fill pan half-way with water depending on the number of people you are serving.
- Bake chicken on 400 degrees F.
- After about 45 minutes to an hour when chicken is done, separate the chicken and broth.
- Place broth in a separate bowl.
- Add all remaining ingredients in another bowl.
- Mix remaining ingredients and broth together.
- Place chicken in the pan with the broth and dressing mix and bake another 30-45 minutes until it starts browning.
