Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 cup onion finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minched
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp Blue Agave Nectar or can use molasses
- 1 tbsp mustard prepared
- 1/2 tsp black pepper freshly ground
- 1/4 tsp sea salt can be substituted with Himalyian salt
- 1/8 tsp red pepper ground red pepper or 1 tablespoon of hot sauce
- 1/2 tsp liquid smoke optional

Instructions
- Heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add in the onions and garlic and saute around 3 to 5 minutes until golden.
- Stir in the remaining ingredients except for the liquid smoke and simmer for around 10 minutes.
- Lastly, add in the liquid smoke, stir and let simmer for another 5 minutes.
- *Optional - Puree to remove any solids if you want your BBQ sauce without bits of onion and garlic.
