Fresh Ideas ‘Bluff City Jazz Fest Labor Day, September 3, 2018 at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts. The lineup will feature crossover artists including saxophonist Najee, R&B and soul singer-songwriter Leela James, jazz fusion duo Pieces of a Dream, renowned musician, composer, and bandleader Alex Bugnon, multi-platinum recording artist Miki Howard, and Memphis natives the Perfect Combination Band, better known as the “PC” Band.

FIRST ANNUAL BLUFF CITY JAZZ FESTIVAL TO PREMIER AT THE CANNON CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS

MEMPHIS, TN (July 27, 2018) – Fresh Ideas Entertainment is excited to announce that the company will showcase the very first annual Bluff City Jazz Fest on Monday, September 3, 2018 at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts. The lineup will feature crossover artists including saxophonist Najee, R&B and soul singer-songwriter Leela James, jazz fusion duo Pieces of a Dream, renowned musician, composer, and bandleader Alex Bugnon, multi-platinum recording artist Miki Howard, and Memphis natives the Perfect Combination Band, better known as the “PC” Band.
Inspired by other successful jazz festivals in the region, we felt that Memphis was missing its very own jazz festival, which of course would possess a soulful, Memphis spin. The festival is the first of many that Fresh Ideas plans to host annually on Labor Day weekend.
