The Stars & Stripes 5k and Block Party comes to Overton Square with a bang Saturday, July 2!

Join the festivities as a race participant or meet us at the finish line for a Salute to Local Heroes block party benefiting the American Red Cross of Mid-South and Ready Shelby.

The Stars & Stripes Party salutes military, fire, law enforcement, and first responders.

The fun includes:
5k Run through Midtown Memphis

Mounted police throughout the block party
The National Anthem by the Memphis Police Quartet
Drill team presenting the colors
Live music on the Madison Avenue main stage
Fire trucks
Children’s activities
Special vendor booths

Over 2,000 runners will be on hand to celebrate Independence Day at Overton Square; all are welcome at the Stars & Stripes Block Party as we salute our first responders.
