Cotton Row Recording is Memphis music’s best kept secret. A full service recording facility established in 1980, Cotton Row Recording features a main studio on the first floor and a smaller one on the second floor.

Equipment in the main studio includes a fully automated Euphonix CS2 48 input console and a 96/24, 24 I/O Pro-Tools HD2 recording system. The impressive outboard gear arsenal includes preamps by Focusrite, Demeter, Joe Meek and UA, compressors by Focusrite, Anthony DeMaria, Joe Meek, Euphonix, TC Electronics,Teletronix, Altec, Aphex and Dbx, reverbs and delays by Lexicon and Yamaha , Massenburg and Aphex eq’s, etc. There is an extensive mic collection, including Neumann, AKG, Audio Technica, Audix, Shure and EV mono and stereo mics. Midi gear includes Korg, Roland, Akai, Yamaha and Oberheim modules. Other gear includes Fender, Marshall and Boogie guitar amps, a Fender Rhodes suitcase piano, a Hammond B3 organ and Leslie and an early 70’s Ludwig drum kit.
